This Sunday, 23rd July, we see the return of the Snowsport Scotland Triple Crown Freestyle Competition at our own home slope! Very exciting. If your interested in Freestyle come along and enter or spectate and support the comp. Its great to watch and the kids always enjoy the support when launching into the air.
Open weekend & Lesson Launch 19th & 20th of August Glasgow Ski Centre Our annual weekend when we offer taster lessons and discounted lessons is coming up on the 19th and 20th of August. Celebrate the start of the 2023/24 season and the launch of our Group Lesson Programme with an Early Bird Discount! 15% discount available on Group Lessons, Private Lessons and Annual Membership. Group Lessons will start the week beginning the 28th August and Saturday/Sunday 2nd /3rd of September. We will stagger start lessons over the beginning of September, leading up to the September weekend. This is good for anyone wishing to book several different levels at the same time, which is possible, it may just involve starting the blocks on different weeks. Lessons can be booked online over this weekend, or by calling the Club. Please avoid coming in person to the office, as this can take longer, due to the public taster lessons on the go. The lesson programme can be viewed from now, in order for you to plan ahead when booking. Please see below to view the timetable.
Adult Ski School We are offering two weeks of Adult Ski School on the following dates - Monday 24th - Thursday 27th July 7 - 9pm. Level 1 & 2 Monday 31st - Thursday 3rd August 7 - 9pm. Level 1 & 5/6 Cost - Members £88 non-members £108 This is a great opportunity for adults to access the slopes in warmer nights and quieter times. Looking to start skiing or get ahead of the kids before winter, this is the perfect sessions for you. Can be booked online or by calling the office. Helmets As we are looking towards the new season starting we want to stress the requirement for under 18 years to wear helmets. Although the Club have a stock of helmets for use, its important once you are level 3 to purchase your own. Level one and two are welcome to borrow the Club helmets to ensure they are happy to stay involved in the sport. From Level 3 - 6 children must look at purchasing their own. Several reasons including the following - Knowing the history of your helmet. Good fit of your helmet to your head. Cleanliness of your helmet.
