Winter 2023/2024

Dear Member,

2024 has started with some lovely cold weather that we are hoping brings with it some Scottish Skiing opportunities. If you are heading up north we can recommend a couple of things to ensure you get the most from your day.

Snow Equipment Hire

We would advise you to hire equipment before you head up north, this is something you can get from the Club as we do Hire Away from the facility. This will save you a great deal of time when you get to resort, and will also ensure you get skiing. We would also advise pre-booking your lift tickets, to again ensure you get skiing. Equipment hire costs can all be found on the website.

Servicing Department

If you are lucky enough to have your own equipment, don't forget we have a very experienced service department, who will get your skis and snowboards fully serviced ready for your trip. Check out the website for prices and T & C.

Holiday Camps

February Mid-term & Spring Ski School

Both of these camps are open to book for members from now.

February mid-term we are running day camps on Monday 12th, Tuesday 13th and Wednesday 14th of February.

Day camps are open to Level 3 skiers and above.

The day camps run from 9.30 - 3.30pm each day, with early drop off available from 8.30am for working parents.

Costs are £45 per day.

Spring Ski School is running over 2 weeks.

Week 1 - 1st - 5th of April

Week 2 - 8th - 12th of April

Ski School is available to all levels -

Beginner - Level 6 Skiing

Snowboarding TBC

Members - £98 for 5 mornings or 5 afternoons

Bookings will open to non-members on the 19th of February

For all those kids working through the levels, this is where Isla came from, once she achieved the levels she moved onto Race Development, then Race Training and her love of the sport has taken her a long way.

Congratulations to Isla Ward, who has been selected to represent GB at the upcoming World Juniors Event in Les Portes du Soleil, France. Good Luck from GSR.
